Molo

Molo’s softwall makes me wish I had a loft apartment. Softwall is a unique way to divide open space using expandable and flexible materials. The partition absorbs light, giving the piece a glow not unlike the effect light has on ice. It can be manipulated to any length or shape the owner wishes, so it can fit most homes. I think that this would look just beautiful in a large, open loft!

Molo is also working on creating softhousing, an expandable, flexible, single-person dwelling that is to be used within existing buildings. This product is being created for the homeless and the first installation is planned to be built in an old shelter in New York City. I love a company that finds innovative ways to give back to the community!

Other Favorites:
-Soft Seating – Made of unbleached brown kraft paper, these pieces can be used as stools, benches, or loungers. They actually look comfortable!
-Float Collection – Liquids look as though they are floating in air
